until panamanians realize the true value and blessings of our Panama, the country will continue finding itself decimated by all negative values;I remember another Panama, the most valuable asset the Isthmus of Panama holds is its natural beauty and plenty,as it dies so does the hope of future generations,Panama you are small enough to still be awakened to your own miracle.
I have been to Panama many time, it is a beautiful country, with lots of good hard working people, Crime is a big concern, all it take 2-3% of population to change things for the worst. I live in the US, and thing are just as bad. unemployment is 10.2%, crime is is clearly on the rise. The rest of us have to stay positive, I believe in brighter days are ahead.
PANAMA WITH 3.4 MILLION PEOPLE NEEDS LOTS OF PRAYERS. HOW CAN A 18 YEAR OLD GET 8 YEARS FOR MURDER? HOW CAN A 15 YEAR OLD SET FREE IN ONE DAY AFTER TAKING A LIFE? I WAS BORN THERE, AND NEVER BELIEVE THE COUNTRY WOULD COME TO SUCH A LOW LEVEL. DOES THE “SOBERS, BROWNS, MORGANS,SMITHS, HAVE ANY POSITION OF POWER? A DIPUTADO BECOMES A MILLIONAIRE IN 5 YEARS, WHILE THE POPULATION GO HUNGRY. SAD
PANAMA NEEDS A LOT OF PRAYERS.WHERE IN THE WORLD CAN ONE GET 8 YEARS FOR PREMEDITATED MURDER? WHAT A SHAME. HOW CAN A VISITOR
DEFEND HIMSELF/HERSELF AGAINST SUCH RANDOM VIOLENCE? MAYBE THE “RABIBLANCOS” WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE AN ANSWER BY 2050
we need to stop business with panama. when the government asks what’s going on about investments and tourism, then they would probably accept they have a social problem out of control, I think nobody wants to visit a country with a high rate of violence like Panama. I am planning to move out of this country by May 2010, I will return to the States. I am selling my property in Boquete. I won’t return to Panama.
